The I-Beam "Heavy Duty" series connecting rods are designed for high horsepower and boost applications in the Honda S2000 F20C. Constructed from 4340 high tensile steel, these rods offer extreme durability and performance. The "straight cut" pin end enhances durability, suitable only with aftermarket pistons. AMPCO 18 material bushings provide excellent wear and fatigue resistance, featuring a radial groove for oil retention. Shot peening relieves material stress, and multi-stage heat treatment increases rigidity. Tight production tolerances ensure perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist.

Each rod includes 3/8 ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The kit comes with ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
