I-Beam Connecting Rods for Audi / VW 2.0L TFSI EA888 Gen.2

The I-Beam Connecting rods are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, ensuring high performance, extreme durability, and enhanced rigidity. They feature a “Rifle Drilled” design for improved oiling at the pin end, and a “straight cut” pin end for increased durability, making them compatible only with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, providing excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove for oil reservoir. Each rod undergoes shot peening to relieve stress and is multi-stage heat treated to enhance rigidity. The precise tolerances in production guarantee a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist.

Each rod is equipped with ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The complete kit includes ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
