Audi / VW 1.4L TSI I-Beam Connecting Rods

The Audi / VW 1.4L TSI I-Beam Connecting Rods are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, ensuring high performance, extreme durability, and enhanced rigidity. These rods feature a Tapered Pin End, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, providing excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove for oil reservoir. Each rod undergoes shot peening to relieve material stress and is multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. The tight tolerances in the production process guarantee a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist.

Each rod is equipped with ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP 625 material. The complete kit includes ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
