VW 2.0L 16v (ABF) I-Beam Connecting Rods

The I-Beam Connecting rods for VW 2.0L 16v (ABF) are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, offering high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity while maintaining a lightweight design. The bushings, made from AMPCO 18 material, provide excellent resistance to wear and fatigue and feature a radial groove for oil reservoir. These rods are shot peened to relieve stress and undergo multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. Tight production tolerances ensure perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material.
