Audi / VW Diesel 1.9L & 2.0L TDi Connecting Rods
Our connecting rods are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. Featuring a Tapered Pin End, they are compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, offering excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove for an oil reservoir. These rods are shot peened to relieve stress and undergo multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. Tight production tolerances ensure perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with bend and twist tightly controlled.
Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP Custom Age 625 material at 280,000 psi. The kit is supplied with ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
Note: Suitable for bores greater than 79.50mm.
