I-Beam Connecting Rods for BMW / Mini Cooper 2.0L B48 Turbo (F-Series)

Manufactured from 4340 high tensile steel, these I-Beam connecting rods are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity while maintaining a lightweight profile. They feature a tapered pin end, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, offering excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove for oil reservoir. The rods are shot peened to relieve material stress and undergo multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. Tight production tolerances ensure perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with bend and twist tightly controlled.

Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The kit is supplied with ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
