The I-Beam "Heavy Duty" series connecting rods are engineered for high horsepower and boost applications in the Ford 2.3L EcoBoost engine. Constructed from premium 4340 high tensile steel, these rods feature an optimized shape for superior performance and durability.

Designed with a "straight cut" pin end, these rods are compatible exclusively with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are crafted from AMPCO 18 material, providing exceptional resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove for oil retention. The rods undergo shot peening to alleviate material stress and multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. Precision manufacturing ensures perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with strict control over bend and twist.

Each rod is equipped with ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The kit includes ARP moly and comprehensive fitting instructions.
