The I-Beam Connecting rods for Citroen / Peugeot 2.0L XU10J4RS are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, offering excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, with a radial groove acting as an oil reservoir. They are shot peened to relieve stress and undergo multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. Tight production tolerances ensure perfect fitment while optimizing oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional ARP L19 material upgrade available at 260,000 psi. The kit is supplied with ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
