Audi 2.5L TFSI TT-RS I-Beam Heavy Duty Connecting Rods

The I-Beam "Heavy Duty" series connecting rods are engineered for high horsepower and boost applications in the Audi 2.5L TFSI TT-RS. Crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, these rods are designed for extreme durability and performance. They feature a "straight cut" pin end, requiring use with aftermarket pistons.

The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, providing excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove for oil retention. The rods undergo shot peening to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. Precision manufacturing ensures tight tolerances for perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist.

Each rod is equipped with ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The kit includes ARP moly and comprehensive fitting instructions.
