Introducing the new series of pistons by ZRP, crafted in collaboration with Wiseco. These pistons are made in the USA from 2618 alloy and share advanced features with the Wiseco HD1400 series, designed for extreme high horsepower setups.

These pistons feature upgraded pins with a 5.34mm wall thickness and Armor Plating coating to mitigate high heat effects in turbo and nitrous/methanol setups. Each piston includes an ArmorGlide anti-friction skirt coating to minimize scuffing during break-in and reduce cylinder wall friction. Made from dedicated in-house forgings, these pistons offer a lightweight design with superior strength. The valve pockets are larger and deeper than OEM to accommodate high-lift camshafts. Additionally, the pistons have offset pins and include Gas-Pressure and Anti-Detonation grooves to extend ring longevity.

Armor Plating Piston Coating

The Armor Plating Coating provides a bronze tint to the top and wrist pin bore. This abrasion-resistant plating increases aluminum hardness, enhances ring groove durability, prevents micro-welding of piston rings, reduces carbon buildup, and combats detonation corrosion. It also reduces piston crown temperature by an average of 20°C.

ArmorGlide Anti-Friction Skirt Coating

ArmorGlide skirt coating, made from Molly solid film lubricant, is permanently bonded to the pistons. It offers seizure resistance and reduces friction, ensuring quiet operation with less piston rock, reduced noise, and increased power.
