The Turbosmart GenV WG45 HyperGate45 External Wastegate is a 45mm, motorsport-proven solution engineered for superior boost control and reliability. Featuring class-leading flow performance, extensive user configuration, and exceptional thermal and fatigue resistance, the GenV WG45 is designed for demanding street and track applications.
This wastegate is a direct-fit upgrade for all Gen4 Turbosmart wastegates and retains the familiar mounting orientation for straightforward installation. The GenV design is CFD optimized and bench validated for maximum flow and thermal management. It features a unique collar-locking system, a variable actuator cap and base for 360-degree reference hose routing, and robust strap-type V-band clamps for secure fitment. Optional liquid-cooling provisions and 1/8″ NPT reference ports allow for flexible setups, and the wastegate comes with the full range of available springs for precise boost control.
Constructed with a high-temp 347 stainless steel body and Nitronic 60 valve guide, the GenV WG45 includes 17-7 PH stainless steel springs for long-term durability. The rotatable actuator housing allows for easy installation and setup in tight engine bays. Optional upgrades include a wastegate position sensor, compressed gas/CO2 actuation, motorsport/extreme temperature version, electronically actuated (eWG) version, and a high-pressure version supporting up to 50psi base pressure.
