This turbo shield uses a multi-layer construction to help keep heat contained in the turbo shield and turbo housing while improving durability at the seams.

Construction

• Outer shell: Silicone-coated to insulate and hold up under extreme conditions; prevents fraying and encases seams to make them over 4 times stronger.
• Insulation layer: Thick silica insulation; silica’s low thermal conductivity makes it an effective insulator.
• Inner layer: Stainless steel, glass fiber, and silicone to add insulating and thermal properties while increasing seam strength and durability.
• Inner cover: Stainless steel fabric designed to withstand the highest temperatures without breaking down or becoming brittle.
