Thermo Couple Converter (TCC06) with DTM 4-pin
The TCC06 is part of the TCCXX family, designed for advanced data transmission. Unlike the TCC01, which outputs an analog 0-5 volt signal, the TCC06 communicates directly with the CAN bus. The TCCXX series includes four models: TCC04, TCC06, TCC08, and TCC10.
These modules can connect up to ten Type-K thermocouples, allowing for convenient data transmission over the CAN bus or direct monitoring on WLAN-enabled devices.
Type-K thermocouples are versatile, suitable for measuring exhaust gas temperatures (EGT), temperatures before and after intercoolers, cylinder head temperatures, water temperatures, oil temperatures, and more. All measurements are cold-junction compensated, with a range of 0 to 1250°C and a resolution of 0.25°C (14 bits).
The TCC04 modules feature a four-pin DTM connector for CAN and miniaturized K connectors, supporting the CAN 2.0A/B standard with flexible configuration for compatibility with various devices.
A key feature of the TCCXX models is WLAN connectivity, enabling easy configuration, updates, and real-time temperature data retrieval via smartphone or PC.
Configuration via WLAN includes:
- Setting CAN speed: 125kbps, 250kbps, 500kbps, or 1Mbps.
- Choosing emulation modes: Standard, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster, or AEMnet.
- Adjusting the default CAN bus ID and selecting between Big or Little Endian.
The TCCXX models are compatible with a wide range of control units, including Emtron, MaxxECU, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster (black/classic), LinkECU, and more.
