DEI's Tan Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap is designed to reduce under hood heat by wrapping headers and down pipes, resulting in a cooler air charge and improved performance. This wrap helps keep exhaust gases hotter within the exhaust system, decreasing exhaust density and increasing exhaust flow.

For best results, use Design Engineering Stainless Steel Locking Ties for a secure and professional installation. Application of Design Engineering HT Silicone Coating spray is highly recommended to penetrate, seal, protect, and prolong the lifespan of the wrap.

Important Notes:

• Do not wrap catalytic converters, as overheating may reduce their lifespan. Consider using a catalytic converter shield or a custom shield with Floor & Tunnel Shield II™.
• After heat cycling, the wrap loses flexibility and should not be moved or removed. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
• Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems. Wrapping titanium can cause the alloy to become brittle and crack. Use flexible heat shields as an alternative.
