DEI Tan Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap is engineered to reduce unwanted under-hood heat by wrapping headers and down pipes. Lower radiant heat under the hood helps deliver a cooler air charge and improved performance, while hotter exhaust gases within the system decrease exhaust density and increase flow.

For a secure, clean installation, Design Engineering Stainless Steel Locking Ties are recommended. For best results and extended wrap life, use Design Engineering HT Silicone Coating spray to penetrate, seal, and protect the wrap.

Important Notes

• Do not wrap catalytic converters; use a heat shield instead to avoid reduced converter lifespan.
• Once heat-cycled, the wrap is not designed to be moved or removed due to loss of flexibility. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
• Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems, as excessive heat retention can cause brittleness and premature cracking. Use a flexible heat shield for titanium systems.
