The steering rod adapters have been developed by RS-Ultimate, with the aim of easy and simple extension of the steering system when using longer front control arms. The rod extensions can be used without any additional modifications to the steering rack, knuckle, or the rod ends themselves. The adapters are screwed between the original steering rod and the steering end. The extensions allow for extension of each side of the steering system from 105mm to as much as 155mm, depending on the suspension setup used. When using control arms extended by 60-80mm, we recommend installing steering ends from the Opel Astra G 2 II (the ends from Opel fit plug & play and are significantly shorter than the original ones). When using control arms extended by 105-155mm, you can install the original steering rod ends depending on the vehicle from BMW E30, E36, E46, or Z3. The adapters have an external M14x1.5 thread on both sides.

This product is intended for cars used in motorsport and tuning applications. It is an essential component for increasing the steering angle. Especially used in sports driving or during competitions such as: Drift, KJS, 1/4 mile, Time Attack, etc.

The product can be used with dedicated steering angle increase kits from various manufacturers such as FAT / Wiesefab, etc.

The components are made using CNC numerical machines, which guarantees the highest quality and production repeatability. Additionally, they are protected with anti-corrosion wax.
