The Muffler Delete Adapter is designed for Borg Warner KKK K03 1.8 TSI EA888 Gen 1 & Gen 2 Turbochargers. The K03 Turbocharger features a muffler in the compressor housing that can resonate with turbocharger noise, causing turbulence and reducing airflow. This adapter eliminates the muffler, enhancing airflow and performance, especially in high-performance applications.
Note: Installation requires modification of the intercooler piping due to the stock coupling's clip design. A small silicone hose, not included in the kit, is also necessary.
