This kit includes all necessary components for converting the cam follower type High-Pressure Fuel Pump to a roller follower kit, similar to the newer EA888 TSI engines. The 2.0 TFSI EA113 engine is known for excessive wear in the cam follower that contacts the camshaft lobe.

If the cam follower wears completely through, it can cause significant damage to the engine and intake camshaft. This conversion mitigates this issue, ensuring the reliability and smooth operation of your high-pressure fuel pump, eliminating the need for repeated cam follower replacements.

Additionally, the fuel pump flow capability is enhanced by increasing the effective stroke by 28% (or 18.5% in CDL engines).

Warning: The installation of this kit requires machining of the high-pressure fuel pump cover to accommodate the roller kit conversion. It also necessitates the removal of the cam lobe that drives the pump and pressing the new lobe in the same orientation.
