Penrite Premium Mineral 5 5W-30 5L

Premium Mineral 5W-30 is a high-quality mineral engine oil with SAE 5W-30 viscosity and friction modifiers. It is made from pure hydrocracked base oils and contains an advanced anti-wear additive system that ensures complete engine protection.

APPLICATION

Premium Mineral 5W-30 is designed for use in modern 4, 6, and 8+ cylinder, multi-valve engines (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged, and hybrid engines. It is also suitable for rotary engines (Wankel), such as those used in Mazda RX series vehicles requiring this viscosity grade.

It is recommended where SAE 5W-30 or SAE 10W-30 engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It can be used where API SP Resource Conserving and ILSAC GF-6A specifications are required, as well as earlier specifications such as SN Plus, SN, SM, SL, SJ, and where ILSAC GF-5, GF-4, or GF-3 fuel economy specifications are recommended.

Premium Mineral 5W-30 meets the latest API SP Resource Conserving specification, providing reduced deposits in turbochargers, oxidation protection, enhanced performance, fuel economy maintenance, timing chain wear protection, and increased protection during idle operation, as well as increased protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).

VEHICLE AND FUEL TYPES

Suitable for use in passenger cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles powered by petrol, LPG, and hybrid (petrol/electric) vehicles, including those using ethanol-blended fuels. As an API SP Resource Conserving, ILSAC GF-6A engine oil, it is suitable for everyday use in Flex Fuel systems using E85/E10 fuels. Not recommended for four-stroke motorcycles with wet clutches; use Penrite MC-4ST motorcycle oil in such cases.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION DURING OIL CHANGE

NOTE: During oil changes, Penrite recommends using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast-acting, solvent-free engine cleaner that removes deposits, sludge, and contaminants during oil draining. It contains zinc for engine wear protection and works in 10 minutes.
