Penrite Classic 10 Tenths Running-In Oil 15W-40 Mineral 5L

Running-In Oil is a premium mineral, SAE 15W-40, non-friction modified, low detergent and dispersant engine oil. It is designed for the critical running-in period for new, re-built, and crate engines. The oil contains an advanced anti-wear additive pack with high zinc levels exceeding 1600+ ppm for ultimate engine wear protection during the initial stages of engine use.

Application

Running-In Oil can be used where SAE viscosities 15W-40, 20W-40, 20W-50, and SAE 30 are recommended. It is suitable for use in modern 4, 6, and 8+ cylinder engines, including multi-cam, multi-valve, naturally aspirated, supercharged, and turbocharged engines, as well as light-duty diesel engines. Suitable for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, competition vehicles, and motorcycles, including four-stroke motorcycles with wet clutches.

Running-In Oil features a high zinc formulation to protect the valve train, including camshafts, followers, rockers, and pushrods. It ensures proper bedding in of piston rings with cylinder walls, preventing glazing of bores. Suitable for both dynamometer and normal road run-in procedures, with a suggested running-in period of approximately 500 kilometers, after which the oil and filter should be changed.
