This version comes with a built-in thermostat that opens at 85°C, controlling oil flow to the cooler. This design allows the oil to reach optimal operating temperature more quickly after engine start, activating cooling only when necessary. This function is especially important in daily driving, as it prevents overcooling during cold starts and normal use.

Using an oil cooler helps lower oil temperature, significantly slowing oil degradation, prolonging its lifespan, and maintaining its lubricating properties – even during aggressive track use. Lower temperatures also reduce the risk of engine and component overheating and increase the total oil volume in the lubrication system, improving stability under demanding conditions.

The adapter features four threaded ports:

• Two ports for connecting external oil cooler lines.
• Two additional ports fitted with 1/8" NPT adapters for installing oil pressure and temperature sensors.

The set includes a Viton gasket, known for its excellent resistance to high temperatures, oils, and chemicals, effectively eliminating common leakage issues found in cheaper adapters using standard rubber seals.
