It uses a highly reflective metalized polyimide film—material commonly used in the space industry for thermal protection—laminated to glass cloth with a high-temperature adhesive. The tape self-adheres with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive and includes an easy-remove backing for clean installation.
