MSD Pro-Billet Distributor for Chevrolet V8 Engine SpecificationsThe MSD Pro-Billet ignition distributor for Chevrolet V8 engines is the manufacturer's most popular and widely used distributor. The result of extremely rigorous design it features a housing machined from 6061-T6 aluminium on a state-of-the-art CNC machine ensuring exact tolerances. For optimum stability at high speeds a robust steel shaft is supported by a sealed ball bearing and a long sintered bushing.This shaft is treated with QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) to reduce friction and resist corrosion. A high-performance maintenance-free magnetic sensor is used to trigger ignition with great precision. Above the sensor is MSD's own adjustable mechanical advance assembly.
