The CANchecked Display MFD28 for Universal Usage

The MFD28 transforms your air vent into an intelligent display, providing essential vehicle data at a glance. Designed for easy installation, most displays come with illustrated instructions for self-installation.

DSS – Display Setup Software

With CANchecked Display DSS, you can fully customize your display. The integrated log viewer allows you to download and view log files. A Can-Logger is also included. The core feature is the integrated "TRI Editor," which enables sensor adjustments, including assigning min/max values for warnings and renaming sensors.

Supported Values

Our display supports comprehensive data queries from your ECU, including:

Temperatures:

• Exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil temperature, intake temperature, outside temperature, gasoline temperature, DSG temperature.

Pressures:

• Boost pressure, ambient pressure, fuel pressure pre-feed pump, rail pressure actual/target.

Lambda/Mixture:

• Lambda value, injection time, short-term lambda adjustment, long-term lambda adjustment.

Other:

• RPM, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, total ignition angle, ignition angle retraction per cylinder, N75 timing in %, terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values.

If any values are missing, they can be added later.

Scope of Delivery

Included with every delivery:

• USB data cable
• SD card (pre-installed in the display)

• Display foil (to prevent reflections)
• Two 1K resistors (for connecting NTC sensors)

Connection and Extension

Connect any sensors via the four analog inputs, supporting linear 0-5V and NTC sensors. Our in-house CANchecked Display sensors are included in the TRI/TRX files by default:

• AIN1: Temperature sensor
• AIN2: Transducer for exhaust gas temperature sensor type K
• AIN3: Pressure sensor 0-10 Bar
• AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0-5.5 Bar absolute

For connection, a pre-assembled AIN wiring harness is available. Additionally, you can connect an external shift light with 8 LEDs, configurable directly on the display. The ethanol sensor can be connected directly to the display with a pull-up resistor (10K) between 5V and signal for viewing and logging ethanol content and temperature.

Advanced Functions

Utilize Math-Channels to calculate sensor values. The User-Table allows for generating additional sensors using 2D or 3D maps.
