CANchecked Display MFD15 Gen2 OBD

The MFD15 Gen2 features an OLED screen for optimal readability in direct sunlight. With a compact outer diameter of 52mm, it fits standard bezels and can be operated using two push buttons mounted on the windshield or an optional rotary knob.

Online DSS - oDSS

The MFD15 Gen2 offers WLAN access for setup via smartphone or PC. With oDSS, you can configure the display, log values (license required), upload a startup image, and update the display.

Supported Values

The MFD15 Gen2 is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284, allowing access to all values from your ECU. The specific values available depend on the ECU manufacturer and may require documentation or a DBC file for import. Up to 64 sensors can be queried depending on the manufacturer.

OBD2 queries via Can Bus (11bit/29bit) and vehicle-specific protocols like UDS or TP2 are supported. Default included protocols are:

For VW/Audi models from 2008, in-depth data queries are available, including oil temperature, boost pressure, transmission temperature, and more.

Internal LED

The internal LED serves as both a switching flash and a warning LED. You can assign up to 8 colors and speed limits for the switching flash, and configure minimum and maximum values for sensors to trigger the warning LED.

Connection and Extension

Included with every delivery:

• MFD15 Gen2 Display
• Connector B (6-way)
• Connector C (12-way)
• 20cm pre-crimped connection cables for power supply, Can Bus, analog inputs, 5V, and sensor ground
• Pins for crimping
• Two 1K resistors for NTC sensor pullup

Connect any sensors via the six analog inputs, supporting linear 0-5V and NTC sensors. Pre-configured sensors include:

• AIN1: Temperature sensor
• AIN2: Transducer for exhaust gas temperature probe type K
• AIN3: Pressure sensor 0-10 bar
• AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0-5.5 Bar absolute

For connection, a pre-assembled 4-way AIN harness is available. An ethanol sensor can be connected directly to the display with the appropriate license.
