MC4 Mechanical

The MC4 Mechanical Parking Brake Caliper is a multi-use, cable-operated brake caliper designed for high output performance while maintaining simplicity in design and construction. It is ideal for vehicle applications that require a separate, mechanically actuated parking brake caliper. The calipers are compatible with rotors ranging from .310” to 1.10” thick and 11.00” to 14.00” in diameter. The MC4 features a die-cast body combined with a forged billet anvil for superior strength under load, weighing only 3.30 pounds (2.95 pounds without pads). Each caliper comes with high-friction, high static-hold brake pads and is pre-fitted with noise-canceling shields.

Engineered for quiet, rattle-free operation, the MC4 sliding caliper includes a steel bracket for easy mounting. Available in both right-hand and left-hand configurations, the caliper’s lever cartridge can be adjusted in three positions for optimal positioning and cable routing. The 1.19” aluminum piston is fully dust booted to protect against moisture and debris. Each caliper is equipped with a cable return spring, and the mechanical lever accommodates a .310” diameter barrel-ended parking brake cable. The manual adjuster allows for incremental adjustments to compensate for pad and rotor wear without the need for special tools. MC4 calipers are available in black, silver, or red high-gloss, high-temp, brake fluid resistant powder coat finishes.
