This progressive nitrous controller can manage up to four distinct stages of nitrous activation based on parameters such as time, RPM, MPH, throttle percentage, or boost pressure. It is suitable for both naturally aspirated and forced induction engines, whether gasoline or diesel.
Safety Features
The Maximizer 6 continuously monitors throttle percentage, engine RPM, nitrous PSI, boost, pan vacuum, and three additional user-defined sensors to ensure optimal engine conditions for nitrous injection. If any monitored parameter falls outside of safe limits, the system will either shut down or reduce nitrous flow to prevent engine damage.
Display and Programming Options
Setup and tuning of the Maximizer 6 are facilitated through a user-friendly Windows-based laptop program. An optional 4-inch touch screen display can be connected for real-time adjustments of common tuning parameters without needing a laptop.
Data Logging
The system automatically logs all inputs, including three user-defined inputs, allowing for the review of critical data from multiple runs. It has sufficient internal memory to store over 100 quarter-mile runs before requiring data transfer to a laptop.
Hardware Features
The Maximizer 6 includes internal drivers for stages one and two, capable of handling 70 amps each, or 140 amps in single-stage mode. Stages three and four necessitate external drivers, which are available separately.

AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) Compensation and Protection
The Maximizer 6 monitors the engine's Air Fuel Ratio using an aftermarket wideband O2 module, automatically adjusting fuel and nitrous solenoid outputs to maintain the desired AFR. It also features user-adjustable safety cutoffs to prevent nitrous flow if the AFR exceeds defined limits.
