BMW 188mm LSD Upgrade by RacingDiffs

Revitalize your BMW’s limited slip differential with RacingDiffs upgrade kits, engineered specifically for 188mm medium case LSDs found in most 6-cylinder BMW models up to 1999. Compatible models include:

• 3 Series: E30, E36
• 5 Series: E28, E34
• 6 & 7 Series: E24, E32
• Z Series: Z1, Z3

Note: If your kit includes the billet steel cap, specify your differential’s gear ratio (2.64-3.07 or 3.15-4.45) when ordering. The correct cap will be provided based on this information.

Performance Pack Options

• Service Pack: 2-clutch set for restoring factory LSD performance. Ideal for daily driving.
• Street Pack (Stage 1): 3-clutch set, preload shim set, and ramp saver shim for improved street driving and smoother locking action.
• Track Pack (Stage 2): 4-clutch set, billet steel cap, preload shim set, and ramp saver shim for enhanced grip and traction on track days.
• Race Pack (Stage 3): 6-clutch set, billet steel cap, preload shim set, oil shim set, and ramp saver shim for competitive racing performance.
• Max Performance Pack (Stage 4): 6-clutch set, billet steel cap, preload shim set, oil shim set, and multi-variation ramp set for maximum adjustability and performance.

All kits are plug & play with no modifications required. For full differential rebuilds, a bearing & oil seal set is also recommended (not included).
