The RacingLine Twin Dogbone Mount Insert is an essential upgrade for MQB and MQB Evo vehicles, offering a significant enhancement in drivetrain stability. By installing both upper and lower inserts into the factory lower engine mount, the drivetrain's location is stiffened, resulting in a tighter and more responsive driving experience. This order includes Version 2 of the insert.

The Twin Dogbone Insert reduces the compliance of the lower engine mount by filling its voids with two billet inserts, controlling the foreward/backwards rocking movement of the drivetrain. This added strength helps prevent future wear and breakages. Unlike single insert solutions, the Twin Dogbone Insert uses two precision-machined billet inserts to maintain balanced forces and avoid damaging bending moments.

Wheel-hop during hard acceleration is significantly reduced, as the engine and gearbox assembly are firmly stabilized, especially beneficial for FWD cars. The installation of the Twin Inserts results in only a minimal increase in NVH, while enhancing the driver's connection to the vehicle with a subtle growl.

Each insert is crafted from T6061 Aluminium and finished with a black anodised coating for long-lasting durability. Installation is straightforward and does not require subframe removal, making it a quick upgrade.

For very high power and track cars, RacingLine offers a full replacement Dogbone and Lower Engine Mount, which provides greater performance but with increased NVH.
