The JRspec GTX45R Single Ball Bearing turbocharger is built around high-quality components, combining a single ball bearing with a floating bearing core (made in Japan). It features a CNC-forged (billet) compressor wheel designed to support higher power potential while maintaining spool characteristics similar to the standard version.
Assembled in the EU from precisely matched parts and high-grade materials, the rotating assembly is balanced in 5 stages up to 250,000 rpm for stable operation under high boost and elevated exhaust temperatures. This turbocharger has been used in motorsport applications including drag and drift.
Hybrid ceramic ball bearings improve spool response, helping the engine build torque at lower rpm compared to journal bearing turbos, and even compared to classic ball bearing designs—useful where throttle response and flexibility matter.
