Aftermarket intercooler kit designed for VW Passat 1.9 TDI B5/B5FL. This complete kit includes a high-performance intercooler featuring a new type of alternately arranged core, along with a set of silicone connectors and elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Depending on the installation, some elbows may require shortening.
The performance intercoolers are constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering superior heat exchange capabilities that enhance vehicle performance compared to the OEM intercooler.
The innovative core design, developed in collaboration with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features a unique arrangement of fins that improves heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions enhance cooling efficiency.
The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in competitive driving or everyday use.
These intercoolers are tested to withstand pressures up to 10 Bar.
The silicone connectors are crafted from high-grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to endure the high pressures found in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. Each silicone connector is reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid, providing strength and flexibility.
Ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems, these silicone connectors are utilized by numerous tuning workshops worldwide.
