Aftermarket intercooler kit dedicated to VW Passat 1.8T. This complete intercooler kit includes a high-performance intercooler with a new type of alternately arranged core, a set of silicone connectors and elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Depending on the installation, some elbows may need to be shortened. The performance intercoolers are made from high-quality aluminum alloy, providing outstanding heat exchange capabilities and significantly improving performance over the OEM intercooler.

The new internal and external core design, developed in cooperation with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features an innovative arrangement of core fins that enhances heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions across each fin body significantly improve cooling capabilities. The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered during competition or street driving.

This intercooler has been tested up to 10 Bar of pressure. Genuine intercoolers can be identified by the logo extruded on both the upper and lower walls. The silicone connectors are made from the highest grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to withstand tremendous pressures in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. All silicone connectors are reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid that offers strength and flexibility.
