Aftermarket intercooler kit dedicated to Volvo S40 / V50 T5 2.5T 225ps. This complete kit includes a high-performance intercooler with a new type of alternately arranged core, silicone connectors and elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Depending on the installation, some elbows may need to be shortened.
The intercooler is constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, providing outstanding heat exchange capabilities and significantly improving performance over the OEM intercooler.
The new internal and external core design, developed in cooperation with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features a unique arrangement of core fins that enhances heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions improve cooling efficiency.
The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in competitive driving or street use.
This intercooler has been tested up to 10 Bar of pressure.
The silicone connectors are made from the highest grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to withstand high pressures in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. All silicone connectors are reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique braid pattern that balances strength and flexibility.
These silicone connectors are ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems and are utilized by many renowned tuning workshops worldwide.
