Aftermarket intercooler kit designed for Volvo S40 / V50 T5 2.5T 225ps. This complete kit includes a high-performance intercooler featuring a newly developed alternately arranged core, along with a set of silicone connectors, elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Depending on the installation method, some elbows may require shortening.
The intercooler is constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering superior heat exchange capabilities that significantly enhance performance compared to the OEM intercooler.
The innovative internal and external core design, developed in collaboration with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features a unique fin arrangement that optimizes heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed fins with additional incisions improve cooling efficiency.
The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in both competitive and street driving.
This intercooler has been tested to withstand pressures up to 10 Bar.
The silicone connectors are crafted from high-grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to endure the high pressures found in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. Each silicone connector is reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house braid that combines strength with flexibility.
These silicone connectors are ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems and are utilized by numerous tuning workshops globally.
