Aftermarket intercooler kit for Opel Insignia 2.0T Turbo. This complete kit includes a high-performance FMIC intercooler featuring a new type of alternately arranged core, silicone connectors and elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Some elbows may require shortening depending on installation. The intercoolers are constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering superior heat exchange capabilities that enhance performance compared to the OEM intercooler.

The innovative internal and external core design, developed in collaboration with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features a unique arrangement of core fins that improves heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions enhance cooling efficiency. The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in competitive and street driving.

These intercoolers are tested up to 10 Bar of pressure. Genuine intercoolers can be identified by the logo extruded on both the upper and lower walls. The silicone connectors are crafted from high-grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to withstand high pressures in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications, including cooling systems and crankcase vents. All silicone connectors are reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid that balances strength and flexibility.
