Aftermarket intercooler kit dedicated to Audi A5 2.7 TDI 3.0 TDI. This complete intercooler kit includes a high-performance FMIC intercooler featuring a new type of alternately arranged core, a set of silicone connectors and elbows, and a set of aluminum connectors and clamps. Depending on the installation, some elbows may need to be shortened.
Performance intercoolers are made from high-quality aluminum alloy, providing outstanding heat exchange capabilities that significantly improve performance over the OEM intercooler.
The new internal and external core design, developed in cooperation with Europe's top drifters and drag racers, features a unique arrangement of core fins, resulting in enhanced heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions across the body of each fin improve cooling capabilities.
Intercooler tanks are constructed from thick aluminum castings to withstand harsh conditions encountered during competition or street driving.
These intercoolers are tested up to 10 Bar of pressure.
The silicone connectors are made from the highest grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to withstand tremendous pressures generated in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. All silicone connectors are reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid that offers high flexibility.
These silicone connectors are ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems and are used by many renowned tuning workshops worldwide.
