This aftermarket intercooler kit is specifically designed for the Audi A4 1.9TDI B5. It includes a high-performance front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) with a newly developed alternately arranged core, silicone connectors, elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Depending on the installation, some elbows may require shortening.

The intercooler is constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering exceptional heat exchange capabilities that significantly enhance performance compared to the OEM intercooler. The innovative core design, developed in collaboration with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features a unique arrangement of fins that improves both heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed fins with additional incisions enhance cooling efficiency.

The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in competitive driving or everyday use. This intercooler has been tested to withstand pressures up to 10 Bar.

FMIC silicone connectors are crafted from the highest grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to endure the high pressures found in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. Each silicone connector is reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid that combines strength with flexibility.
