Aftermarket intercooler kit designed for Audi A4 1.8T B6. This complete kit includes a high-performance FMIC intercooler featuring a new type of alternately arranged core, along with a set of silicone connectors, elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Some elbows may require shortening depending on installation to the vehicle frame.
The intercooler is constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering exceptional heat exchange capabilities that significantly enhance performance compared to the OEM intercooler.
The innovative internal and external core design, developed in collaboration with top European drifters and drag racers, features a unique arrangement of core fins that improves heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions enhance cooling efficiency.
The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in competitive and street driving.
This intercooler has been tested up to 10 Bar of pressure.
The silicone connectors are manufactured from high-grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to withstand high pressures in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. Each silicone connector is reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid that combines strength with flexibility.
These silicone connectors are ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems and are utilized by many tuning workshops globally.
