Aftermarket intercooler kit dedicated to Audi A3 8L 1.9TDI. This complete intercooler kit includes a high-performance FMIC intercooler featuring a new type of alternately arranged core, along with a set of silicone connectors and elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Depending on the installation, some elbows may need to be shortened.
The performance intercoolers are constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, providing outstanding heat exchange capabilities that significantly enhance performance over the OEM intercooler.
The new internal and external core design, developed in collaboration with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, features a unique arrangement of core fins that improves heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions enhance cooling capabilities.
Intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in both competitive and street driving.
These intercoolers are tested up to 10 Bar of pressure.
The silicone connectors are made from high-grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to withstand the tremendous pressures generated in intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. All silicone connectors are reinforced with 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house braid that offers strength and flexibility.
These silicone connectors are ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems and are utilized by many renowned tuning workshops worldwide.
