Aftermarket intercooler kit designed for A4 B6 1.8T BEX 192KM. This complete kit includes a high-performance FMIC intercooler featuring a new alternately arranged core, silicone connectors, elbows, aluminum connectors, and clamps. Some elbows may require shortening depending on installation.
The intercooler is constructed from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering superior heat exchange capabilities that significantly enhance performance compared to the OEM intercooler.
The innovative internal and external cores, developed in collaboration with top drifters and drag racers in Europe, feature a unique fin arrangement that improves heat exchange and airflow. Alternately placed heat exchanger fins with additional incisions enhance cooling efficiency.
The intercooler tanks are made from thick aluminum castings, ensuring durability under harsh conditions encountered in competitive driving or street use.
This intercooler has been tested to withstand pressures up to 10 Bar.
The silicone connectors are crafted from high-grade silicone with multi-layer reinforcement, designed to endure the high pressures of intake systems. They also resist coolant, fuel fumes, grease, and engine oil, making them suitable for various applications including cooling systems and crankcase vents. Each silicone connector features 5 or 6 layers of a unique in-house developed braid that balances strength and flexibility.
These silicone connectors are ideal for building professional intake or cooling systems and are utilized by numerous tuning workshops worldwide.
