Self-Diagnosis ?Designed for racing the HP Ignition AutoDiag coilpacks are equipped with an additional component visible on the top monitoring the ignition. This permanent monitoring is performed according to well-defined criteria such as the secondary discharge time. When a cylinder encounters ignition issues a red LED is activated on the corresponding coilpack in order to help troubleshooting (defective spark plug for example).When starting the engine all the coilpacks activate their LEDs for 5 seconds then switch off simultaneously confirming the correct operation of the AutoDiag feature. If a coilpack's LED remains on (or comes back on later) it means that the corresponding cylinder is having an ignition issue.
