The Higher-Output Ignition Coils are a direct plug-and-play upgrade from the OE ignition coils. Suitable for both standard and Stage 3 tuned engines, these coils provide greater energy output and a stronger, more consistent spark.

Delivering a 10% increase in output energy compared to OE, these coils are ideal for drivers aiming to maximize performance from their stock or modified vehicles. This increase is optimal, as exceeding it does not yield additional benefits and can lead to higher internal temperatures.

At this output level, the coils maintain voltage under load with minimal drop-off, ensuring consistent performance from idle to red-line. Replacement is particularly beneficial for older engines still using OE Coil Packs, as new coils serve as a preventative maintenance upgrade to mitigate the risk of misfires associated with aging components.

Installation is straightforward; simply remove the OE Coil Packs and replace them with the Higher Output versions. Available in three colors—Blue, Red, or Grey—these coils are sold individually, so remember to order in sets of four or five as needed.
