The I-Beam “Heavy Duty” series connecting rods for Suzuki 1.3L Hayabusa Gen.2 are designed for high horsepower and boost applications. Constructed from 4340 high tensile steel, these rods feature an optimized shape for superior performance and durability. The bushings, made from AMPCO 18 material, offer excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, with a radial groove serving as an oil reservoir. Shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated for increased rigidity, these rods ensure a perfect fitment with optimized oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each rod includes 3/8 ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The kit comes with ARP moly and full fitting instructions.
