DEI Heat Screen™ is engineered to shield interiors and components from engine and exhaust heat intrusion. Featuring a high-temperature resistant fiberglass core with a .060" thickness, this barrier is backed with a superior aluminized mylar surface, reflecting radiant heat efficiently.
- Protects painted surfaces from excessive heat
- Withstands direct heat up to 1200°F (649°C)
- Resists radiant heat up to 2000°F (1093°C)
- Flexible and trim-to-fit for custom applications
- Can be secured using high-temperature adhesives or mechanical fasteners
- Suitable for floorboards, body panels, under carpeting, and areas near exhaust or fuel tanks
For best results, use with DEI's Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive or Heat Resistant Sealant. DEI Cool Tape™ is recommended for sealing seams.
