ARP Head Stud Kit - L19 Material

Designed for drag racers and street racers operating high boost engines, the ARP Head Stud Kit in L19 material provides superior clamping force and tensile strength compared to the ARP2000 Stud Kit. These studs are 15% stronger than ARP2000 and offer a 55% increase in tensile strength over OEM torque to yield (TTY) bolts.

Addressing head lifting issues commonly encountered in VW engines running over 25 PSI, these custom-made studs meet the demands of today's top engine builders and racers. Made from vacuum melted alloy steel with optimal chromium and carbon content, they achieve high hardness and exceptional strength. L19 material requires careful handling during manufacturing to prevent hydrogen embrittlement and is susceptible to stress corrosion; therefore, it must be kept well-oiled and protected from moisture.

This kit is recommended for applications exceeding 30 PSI and requires no modifications to your VW cylinder head or block, as it is a direct drop-in replacement for OEM head studs.
