OVERVIEW

This fuel hanger replaces the stock fuel pump assembly without the need for cutting or modifying the vehicle's sheet metal or fuel tank. The fuel pump is positioned in the factory collector bowl for fuel starvation protection.

PORT FITTINGS

The fuel pump outlet features 8AN ORB (3/4"-16) female threads on the top plate, with a preinstalled -6AN male fitting for aftermarket feed lines or plumbing kits. The return inlet is equipped with 6AN ORB (9/16"-18) female threads, also allowing for an aftermarket return line or plumbing kit connection. All fittings are machined to clear the trunk sheet metal.

FUEL PUMPS

Part numbers 20-1790 and 20-1792 are designed for use with one aftermarket fuel pump. If two aftermarket pumps are needed, the supplementary "dual pump add-on" (20-1796 or 20-1797) is required. Note that the "dual pump add-on" cannot be used with brushless pumps due to additional controller wires. Selecting the appropriate fuel pump(s) depends on expected engine power output, fuel type (gasoline, E85, etc.), and fuel pressure.

ELECTRICAL

The custom-designed anti-rotation stainless steel electrical studs are capable of handling high current demands that compact multi-pin bulkhead connectors cannot. These serviceable connections are hermetically sealed and resistant to all standard and exotic fuels. Non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts prevent accidental short circuiting, and the in-tank wiring is insulated with high-quality chemically resistant ETFE.
