The modification of the 1.2/1.4/1.8/2.0 TSI EA888 GEN 2/2.5T FSI EA855 /5.0 TFSI/NISSAN VK56VD DIG/ Infiniti M56 and other engines sharing the same high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) requires an increased volume of high-pressure fuel to prevent "fuel cuts," particularly in the midrange (3000-5000 rpm). Factory fuel pumps often experience pressure loss under these conditions, as their flow capacity is limited by the volume displaced by the pressurizing cylinder inside the pump.
To address the demand for higher fuel volume and power outputs, the 2.5T FSI HPFP Upgrade Kit has been developed. This upgrade kit features a design that offers 20% more surface area and is capable of over 150 bar of pressure at startup, reaching up to 190 bar with a 50% increase in volume compared to the original equipment (OE) pump, while being 10% lighter. This upgrade is suitable for both big turbo applications and stock power setups, providing an additional 15 bar of fuel rail pressure and enhancing horsepower, especially in the midrange. The piston head is optimized for ideal hydrodynamic flow, with a hardened and heat-treated surface achieved through two different stages.
The kit has undergone extensive testing across various configurations and hardware/software setups globally, demonstrating consistent reliability and performance.
