Forté Fuel System Cleaner Advanced PB (Petrol/Gasoline)

Forté Fuel System Cleaner Advanced PB is designed to clean petrol injectors and address deposits throughout the gasoline fuel system. It targets common contamination linked to resin, varnish and tar deposits, and can also help with deposit-related EGR issues and carbon build-up around piston grooves and rings.

What it is

A complex blend of carefully selected solvents used together with surface-active substances and binders, formulated to dissolve deposits that precipitate in fuel systems.

Why fuel systems get contaminated

In gasoline engines, contamination can increase as leaded fuel has been replaced by alcohol-containing fuels. Methanol and ethanol can react with water condensate and create an acidic environment in the tank, releasing tar, varnish and resin that can spread through the system, including injectors.

Modern engines with multiple sensors can be sensitive to these deposits, which may contribute to incorrect signals (for example from the lambda probe, throttle or EGR valve). Typical symptoms include increased fuel consumption, uneven running, fluctuating idle/revs and reduced performance.

Compatibility

Compatible with all types of gasoline, including synthetic fuels.

Use and dosing

Warning: Use with care—Forté Fuel System Cleaner Advanced can damage paintwork.

During periodic service

• Add 400 ml to 50–60 liters of gasoline, or use at 10% relative to the amount of gasoline.

During repairs

• Injection engines: add via the fuel tank to 10–15 liters of gasoline.
• Carbureted engines: add via the fuel pump.

Additionally, always add 400 ml of Forté Fuel & Emission Improver to the fuel tank.

Service note

As the product does not contain substances whose use would void a manufacturer’s warranty, it is intended for regular use at each periodic service.
