K1 forged connecting rods and crankshafts are crafted from premium 4340 steel, ensuring strength and durability for high-performance applications. Manufactured with precise bearing bore tolerances of +/- .0001", K1 products meet the rigorous demands of racing and rally environments.

All connecting rods utilize ARP bolts—ARP 2000 as standard, with 625 plus upgrades available. Bronze bushings are integrated to minimize friction and extend service life. Select connecting rod sizes offer press-fit pins. Each rod is fully designed, finished, and inspected in the USA.

K1 crankshafts feature hardened cores for increased tensile strength and are finished with polished, nitrided bearing surfaces for enhanced wear resistance. ARP bolts are installed and torqued prior to honing, ensuring consistent and accurate bore geometry. All connecting rods are honed at the K1 facility, weight-matched in sets, and clearly marked with rotary, reciprocating, and total weights to streamline balancing.
