K1 forged connecting rods and crankshafts are crafted from premium 4340 steel, ensuring exceptional strength and durability. Manufactured with bearing bore tolerances held to +/-0.0001", these components meet the rigorous demands of racing and rally applications.

All connecting rods utilize ARP bolts, with ARP 2000 as standard and 625+ upgrades available. Bronze bushings are used to reduce friction and extend service life. Select connecting rod sizes offer press-fit pins. Each connecting rod is 100% designed, finished, and inspected in the USA.

K1 crankshafts feature hardened cores for increased tensile strength, with bearing surfaces polished and nitrided for enhanced wear resistance. ARP bolts are installed and torqued to specification before honing to ensure precise and repeatable bore geometry. Connecting rods are weight-matched in sets, with rotary, reciprocating, and total weights marked for ease of balancing.
